La Brinca


The combination of restaurant and territory finds in Brinca di Ne, a beautiful example within a small village behind Lavagna. Almost 200 years old, the restaurant has been run by the Circella family for two generations. The establishment is warm and welcoming, with a terrace overlooking the green nature of Val Graveglia. The cuisine is particularly refined, demanding the choice of ingredients mostly found on site. The dishes are genuine and tasty. In particular worth tasting are delicacies such as Prebuggiun, made with local vegetables, and especially Cunniggiu Magru, a terrestrial transposition of the famous cappon magro, the main dish of Ligurian coastal cuisine. Noteworthy is the stuffed lettuce in broth, also a testimony of times when virtue was made of necessities, bringing to the table what was available. In general one after another, the dishes are delicate with balanced flavors. While at the same time lingering as to put us at peace with the world, while reminding us of past memories. Another strong point is the wine list, with a wonderful and complete panorama of Ligurian viticulture. Completed by a good choice of Italian and foreign wines. The advice of the young but expert sommelier, Matteo, is always sought after and appreciated. The service is prompt and polite. The end result, if you happen to be in these parts, don’t miss out on stopping by. You will certainly be satisfied.
