Roscioli Salumeria con Cucina


Roscioli is a deli with a kitchen where you can purchase the best of Italian and foreign gastronomy. Where you can enjoy a cuisine that is simply well done and uses excellent raw materials. A temple of good taste, that welcomes you with its shelves full of delicacies and a large counter that contains high-quality selections. When you take a seat at one of the tables, now correctly spaced out with screens to comply with the anti-covid directives, you are always greeted with a small welcome gift from the kitchen. Cured meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables, anchovies, salmon and other culinary products represent the heart of the menu. An interesting and varied selection. It’s impossible not to order a taster, but it’s really hard to choose which one among the many valid proposals: like rare mountain pasture cheeses, blue cheese, goat cheeses, soft Langa, aged French cheeses, black breed salami, selections of lard or bresaole, Italian, Spanish and other hams from all over the world. Among the starters, the warm veloutè with datterini tomatoes, stracciatella of burrata and prawns is fresh and silky, a delicious summer dish. The first courses either marry tradition or revisit it. The impeccable carbonara is prepared with home-made bacon and a trio of pepper. The appetizing ravioli are stuffed with oxtail. They combine the callosity of the pasta with a melt-in-your-mouth interior, accompanied by a foie gras sauce and fig mash.  The bread basket is prepared by the nearby Roscioli oven. It has some real goodies like brioche bread with Pata Negra and Parmesan. The vast wine list has hundreds of labels. But you can also select wine by the glass, which does not disappoint and goes well with the meal. Finally do not miss out on tasting the maritozzo with whipped cream. This dessert has become the signature dessert of this establishment.
