Cavallino

3° I Migliori Ristoranti sotto i 100€ 2026 - Il Fritturista - Oleificio Zucchi Award

Il Cavallino is a must-visit for those who love engines and the culture of the Prancing Horse, a place where cuisine interacts with history. As soon as you enter, you will encounter engines on display, original projects, archival photos, and the many memorabilia that tell the evolution of an iconic brand; don’t miss the private room of Enzo Ferrari that evokes the intimate atmosphere of the years when the Drake himself sat here. The kitchen, led by chefs Riccardo Forapani and Virginia Cattaneo, interprets the Emilian tradition with a modern sensibility. There are two tasting menus and à la carte options. The “Welcome to Emilia” menu includes Crème Caramel with Parmigiano Reggiano, a treasure chest of tortellini, the famous Bottura cotechino alla Rossini, and zuppa inglese, all for €65. For those seeking a more extensive experience, the Gran Turismo, with seven courses, is offered at €95. Among the appetizers, the Arcimboldo stands out, a contemporary vegetable dish that plays on freshness and minerality. The fried gnocco is a must, guaranteeing impeccable execution and a careful selection of cured meats. Indulgent and fun are the penne alla Vodka with caviar. The service is precise, friendly, and well-timed for the customer; the dining room, designed by India Mahdavi, combines domestic warmth with industrial memory.
