The DaNico restaurant is located inside what used to be a bank, one of those with high ceilings, so beloved by the North American model. The atmosphere is refined, elegant, with long linen tablecloths and comfortable upholstered sofas. In the kitchen, chef and co-owner Daniele Corona, with great experience in important Italian restaurants, has moved to Canada a few years ago and now offers a contemporary Italian cuisine with international influences and the use of local products. Great technique, clean flavors, elegant presentations. You can choose from the à la carte menu, or a tasting menu. Among the dishes to try are the mussels cacio e pepe and the Gragnano spaghetti with mushrooms and truffles, truly convincing. For main courses, the black cod with vermouth and caviar stands out, and for desserts, the strawberry forest. The wine list is of a high standard, allowing for a truly enjoyable experience. The service is formal, but not oppressive, making you feel pampered throughout the meal.
