Linfa in Milan presents itself as a restaurant that is also gluten-free and vegan, located in a carefully curated space with soft colors, modern design, scattered plants, and a lounge atmosphere, ideal for a casual yet stylish outing. The service is courteous and very attentive in explaining the dishes. There is both an eight-course tasting menu (80 euros) and à la carte options available. A must-try dish is the slow-cooked Shiitake mushroom ragout with garganelli pasta for the first course, while the mixed meatballs are a must for the second course. The vegetable alternative to the grilled steak, flambeed with cognac and served with a fabulous chimichurri sauce, is also worth trying. The sushi, uramaki, and tartare options are interesting as well. The wine list is extensive, with valid alternatives for every type, and the pastry section offers interesting and original choices. A restaurant that can surprise and delight even those who are not vegan.
