We are in Agnone, in Molise, surrounded by greenery and lush vegetation at 800 meters above sea level where you can enjoy what is missing in the city chaos: space, air, water, the true taste of products, calm. But the real reason to come here, it is really worth it, is Stefania di Pasquo’s cuisine. An old farmhouse expertly renovated offers the possibility to stay overnight. Stefania’s cuisine tells the surrounding territory, with technique and good taste, lightened by unnecessary embellishments and fats, from a contemporary vision of this wonderful corner of the Apennines, little known. Three tasting proposals are available: “Terra” at 60 euros, “Five Courses” at 65 euros, and “Expressions” at 75 euros. The transhumance risotto, with hay, mixed herbs, and dog rose, is an absolute must-try, as well as the lamb with onions and bitter herbs. The dining service is overseen by Tomas Torsiello, as well as the wine list, knowledgeable, extensive, curious, with the right markups.
