This establishment opened in 2006 and immediately became a huge success, both with the Florentine locals and with the tourists in the area.
The raw materials are all of the highest quality. The bread is artisan and comes form the Panificio Cirri from the Mercato Centrale and it is “farcito” (stuffed) in many different ways. Seeing as we are in Tuscany, sliced cured meats and cheeses are the most popular, but there is also seafood and everything for even the most discerning palates. From the list “Sterminata” we chose the “Il Solito” (the usual): Tuscan prosciutto, fresh pecorino, tapenade and tomatoes. It is an excellent mix with the tomato that softens the bite while the tapenade makes it delicate. The prosciutto and pecorino are top quality, which can be tasted even outside the context of the panino. The second choice was the “Fellini” with mortadella and pecorino, pistachios which were also all excellent products. To finish off we tried the Pistocchi cake which you must not miss!
