The Focaccia di Recco with IGP cheese is an institution for Ligurian gastronomy. Recco la Focacceria Manuelina has been proposing the two veils of water, oil and flour, stuffed with warm sensuality of a soft Ligurian CRESCENZA for ten years. Today the Focacceria has been remodeled. The ovens face towards a grand veranda furnished in wood and PAGLIA DI VIENNA. The ceiling is leaves punctured by tiny lights. You feel like you are in a noble inland garden, or on an exotic journey of ANTICHI VELIERI. Now the focaccia is round: six or twelve slices are presented on a stand in the center of the table. The tasting menu is always light and fragrant with cheese that brings a hint of acidity to the LENTE and sometimes crunchy slices. The menu is up to date with the latest trends: focaccias served in a tasting series, some traditional Ligurian dishes (we recommend the chestnut-flour trofie with pesto), and a selection of cocktails, wines and craft beers. The service is attentive and well-managed for a stop that is always enjoyable.
