Siamo nel Flatiron District, entrando da Rezdôra troverete un locale con i mattoncini rossi alle pareti, luci soffuse, il grande bancone dove è possibile mangiare, un posto newyorkese, che più newyorkese non si può, almeno fino a quando non vi troverete ad ordinare. Già perché la cucina è italiana, anzi emiliana e lo si poteva intuire anche dal nome. In cucina Stefano Secchi che ha portato la cucina emiliana, la sua storia, le sue tradizioni nella Grande Mela. Gramigna gialla e verde, gnocchi di zucca, l’uovo in raviolo omaggio a Nino Bergese, ma anche mortazza e gnocco fritto. La proposta è divisa in brunch, lunch e dinner. Tra i dolci la torta di mele e un piccolo gioiello. Ottima la proposta dei cocktails. Il servizio ha tutto il calore dell’Italia e dell’Emilia. Molto curata la carta dei fine pasto, tra grappe e barolo chinato.
Right in the Flatiron District, entering Rezdôra you will be welcomed by a room with red bricks on the walls, soft lighting, and a large counter where you can comfortably eat; just a New York place, as New York as it gets; at least until you find yourself ordering... simply because the menu speaks Italian, rather, Emilian as you could also guess by the name. In the kitchen, Stefano Secchi brought the Emilian cuisine, its history, and its traditions to the Big Apple. You can enjoy the typical pumpkin gnocchi, yellow and green grass, egg ravioli in homage to Nino Bergese, but also mortazza and fried gnocchi. The proposal is divided into brunch, lunch, and dinner. Among the desserts, the apple pie is a little gem. The cocktail offer is excellent. The service has all the warmth of Italy and Emilia. The after-meal menu is very well-made, which includes grappa and Barolo Chinato.
