L’Antica Trattoria Ballotta c’è dal 1605 ed è il locale più antico dei Colli Euganei. Una pubblicazione ricorda gli ospiti illustri che ha avuto. Antica Trattoria Ballotta has been around since 1605 and is the oldest restaurant in the Euganean Hills. A publication recalls the distinguished guests it has welcomed over the years. The setting is truly delightful, with spaces such as the pergola and the orangery (as well as the new wine cellar) making “Ballotta” even more atmospheric. For about thirty years, the Legnaro family has poured its heart and soul into it, turning the restaurant into a cultural landmark for the area as well. The menu is varied and enticing, a sign that there is still real enthusiasm in the kitchen. Standout dishes include risotto with scorzone truffle and Serprino, homemade gnocchi, oven-roasted torresano pigeon (now a De.Co. specialty), and baccalà alla vicentina. The wine list is broad and wide-ranging.
