Pasta e focacce fatte in casa.
The historic Caffè Grande became a contemporary osteria in 2023, with the arrival of Francesco Forlini in the kitchen, Matteo Guglielmo in the dining room, and Giovanni Zonta curating a wine list of more than 300 labels from small producers. Forlini, who moved from Turin to Asador Etxebarri in Spain, brings from that experience a focus on the grill: above all meat, with a few fish dishes as well. The starters play on offal, with tripe and sweetbreads, while the tongue is first served tonnato-style and then cured with salt and grilled over the embers. There is also arrosticino alongside Venetian classics such as sarde in saor and baccalà mantecato. The first courses are rich and varied, including offal and vegetables. Homemade pasta and focaccia.
