The restaurant Attimi in Neuchatel immediately stands out for its welcoming and well-kept environment, where chef Gerardo Metta offers dishes with ingredients from the Italian tradition expertly used to create high gastronomy dishes, explained with passion by maitre Roberto Paone. There are two tasting menus (with three and four courses respectively of land and sea, offered at 95 and 138 euros) but it is also possible to choose à la carte. The wine list is extensive, while among the most unique dishes not to be missed are the Sardinian fregola with asiago cheese, black garlic, seasonal mushrooms and crispy quinoa, as well as the tagliolini with black truffle from Molise enriched with a natural truffle extract and Parmesan emulsion. Among the desserts, a pleasant discovery is the cold zabaione with marsala, cinnamon and walnuts which, with the addition of balsamic vinegar, surprisingly acquires a completely different flavor.
