An authentic laboratory of modernity, Ciccio Sultano’s, set in the heart of an elegant 18th-century palace, is now even more vibrant thanks to the arrival of Federico Paz Zavalia, a very young and talented Argentine chef with Sicilian roots. It all begins with the outstanding quality of the local ingredients, giving rise to dishes that are solid, technically flawless, and above all delicious, contemporary, and true to their identity. A couple of highlights (alongside cheese and cured-meat boards, pizzas, and countless other temptations): spaghetti with sardines, and pork collar glazed with chocolate. Exquisite desserts, and plenty of beer and wine. Excellent service, elegantly overseen by Gabriella Cicero.
