Over the years, the gastronomic offerings of the various Mandarin Oriental around the world have given great satisfaction to passionate gourmets, and this Italian restaurant in Zurich is no exception. In the kitchen, we find Dario Moresco, under the supervision of Antonio Guida, the chef of the Mandarin Oriental in Milan. The elegant restaurant, embellished with an artistic porcelain installation by Livia Marin, is located in one of the city’s most historic buildings. There are two tasting menus available, one featuring Chef Guida’s classics with a choice of four to six courses, and the other menu dedicated to game, with a choice of four to seven courses. A must-try is the langoustine with Marsala zabaglione and saffron foam, and the risotto with raspberries, sage, and herb cream, both truly a delight for the palate. Among the desserts, the spiced chocolate mousse with caramel, pineapple, and Piedmont hazelnut ice cream is definitely worth a taste. The wine list is top-notch, with a well-curated selection of Swiss wines. Top-notch service.
