We are at Dempsey Hill, which in the last two years has become a real playground for passionate gourmets. Torno Subito is the concept created by Massimo Bottura, inspired by Maurizio Cattelan. Upon entering, you dive into that piece of Romagna so dear to Federico Fellini and the bright colors and furnishings are a great calling card. In the kitchen, Alessio Pirozzi, a young and talented chef, presents with personality a regional Italian cuisine. You can choose à la carte, or opt for a six-course tasting menu. A must-try is the raviolo di Nonna Ancella, among the pastas. Among the main courses, the Neapolitan turbot with turnip tops and bergamot sauce is a true ode to the Mediterranean diet. Among the desserts, the hot bomb is an absolute delight. Plus for the pizza, really well made, excellent for leavening and cooking. The wine selection between Italy and France is good, allowing you to drink well, even if you decide to do a pairing. The espresso coffee is also excellent, which is not trivial around here.
